Innovative products and development processes are usually created through interdisciplinary cooperation between experts from various specialist areas. In mechatronics, the three classical engineering disciplines play a key role, together with actuator, sensor and process technology. Through the interaction between these factors, mechatronics provides the basis for innovative, intelligently-controlled products with a high functionality, accompanied by greater productivity, reliability and hence profitability.

RG Mechatronics specializes in developing smart actuators and intelligent systems with safety-relevant functions. Examples include electromechanical brakes for industrial and automotive applications, and smart actuators for automation and robotics.

Beyond this, we concentrate on the non-linear control of highly dynamic processes. This includes development of high performance electric motors and the sensor for their control, together with intelligent actuators based on the planetary roller-screw (Planeten-Wälz-Gewindespindel - PWG). Throughout the complete development process we work closely with our customers and partners. Out of respect for our clients’ wishes, we will not present a detailed description of ongoing projects.
